Workshop for the development of a sound International business strategy.

 

After this workshop the students/participants should be able to:

  • Have a top down view of all dimensions which contribute to a sound International business strategy
  • Understanding the implications and the steps to be taken to operate in more than one country
  • Be able to differentiate between central and local strategy depending on the local market conditions
  • Knowing the different organizational models and varying degrees of coordination
  • Understanding the concept of Cultural Intelligence

 

We bring the above into practice through an Action Learning approach (working in groups on different cases) for half of the time.

 

Since 2006 Peter Kopeczek is Lecturer for Internationalization (international business planning and -strategies) for the following institutions:

  • The Viennese university PEF - Privatuniversität für Management - for its MBA Intra- and Entrepreneurship degree program (1 day)
  • The Donauuniversität Krems, Austria, for their Health Management MBA program (2 days)
  • The Design Academy in Eindhoven, Netherlands as part of the marketing program
