KICS Report

KICS Report

The objective of the KICS cooperation (Knowledge Intensive Collaborative Services) was to overcome the barriers for adoption of new technologies in the innovation process.

The main results of our IPC project were:

  • Adaptation of new knowledge: All partners developed new service offerings that integrate IT and business services for better collaboration with the support of VEA.
  • User orientation: The new service offerings were successfully piloted with customers in order to fine tune their elements using a living lab methodology.
  • Valorisation: Through collaboration and exchange of experiences in the group, partners could support each other in the development of critical elements for the service offering like:
    • Design of the specific services
    • Strategies to support user adoption in the customer organisation
    • Business Models for offering the services
    • Entrepreneurial strategies to build the business
  • Through this combined methodology of living lab piloting and joint learning, the new services reached a state, that is now ready for commercial use. Business building with these services has started.
