The Managing Partner of TheVirtualManager B.V. is Peter Kopeczek. He founded this company in 2001. Through his international education and practical experience he developed a vision how organizations should develop their business and organization. He is able to bring strategic insight into actionable plans. During his time in California (Silicon Valley) closely linked to Stanford University he got convinced of the collaborative power of a professional network. This was the basis for his believe in the "virtual consultancy".
Peter's experience spans more than 20 years in the electronics industry with managerial positions on three continents: In the time period 1991 to 2001 he was chief executive for world-wide operating business units within Philips Electronics: Power Modules, Remote Control Systems and WebTV.
1998 and 1999 he headed a Sunnyvale, California, USA based team within Philips Corporate Strategy and Business Development.
He has a degree in Industrial Engineering and a master's degree in economics from the University of Vienna.
Peter Kopeczek is Lecturer for Internationalization and Scenario Thinking on universities in Austria and The Netherlands for their MBA programs.
He was also observer and advisor of the European Interreg III Growth initiative.
